DAY 1

Start your 290-kilometer trek from Kuching to Batang Ai. Visit the local market in Serian and have lunch in the charming town of Lachau. Take a picturesque longboat journey on Batang Ai Lake to the longhouse, where you’ll be greeted by the friendly Iban people. Observe and participate in the preparation of a tasty supper using local foods with your guide. Experience the Iban war dance and live in the bush in the longhouse.

DAY 2

After breakfast, take a 15-30 minute longboat journey to the start of your rainforest adventure. Set off on a rainforest trip to explore the jungle’s natural treasures and look for Orang Utan nests high in the trees. Prepare for an overnight stay in a forest shelter or camping spot by eating a light meal along the route. Cool down at a clean stream, have a simple meal, and spend the night in a bush camp.

DAY 3

After a simple breakfast, stroll down to the river for your return boat ride to the jetty. Transfer to your vehicle for the return trip to Kuching, stopping for lunch along the way.
