After successfully opening its first hotel in Vietnam, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has unveiled plans to continue expanding into Vietnam with another property in Danang called the Wyndham Soleil Danang. Destined to be the tallest hotel in the city, rising to a height of 199 metres with 57 floors, this $446 million US project is expected to open in September 2018.
The 779-room Wyndham Soleil Danang is located in the coastal city’s Son Tra district. It will form part of a major four-tower complex that will also feature 3,200 apartments, conference facilities, retail and dining precincts and parks.
Meliá Hotels International has also revealed plans to launch a new luxury hotel in Ho Tram, the fast-developing beach resort in Southeast Vietnam. Scheduled to open in the second half of 2018, Melia Ho Tram will be located within the high-end residential development of The Hamptons Ho Tram. Melia Ho Tram is approximately 95 kilometres southeast of Ho Chi Minh City and along the same beach as the Grand Casino and the Bluffs Golf Course. It features 156 hotel suites and 98 villas.
