Known as the ‘City of Springs’ thanks to its many artesian wells within the city, Jinan has been inhabited for more than 4,000 years and is a traditional hotbed of civilisation and culture. Begin the experience arriving in Jinan and meeting your local guide before transferring to the hotel. Enjoy time at leisure for the rest of the evening.

The next day, tour Jinan’s natural attractions including Baotu Spring Park, one of the region’s most famous sites, Daming Lake and the Black Tiger Spring. The next morning, rise early to take the train to Mt. Taishan. Visit the Dai Temple, also known as Dongyue Temple, located at the bottom of Mt. Taishan before taking the cable car up the mountain for a bird’s eye view of the city. Stay overnight on the top of the mountain.
Appreciate the gorgeous sunrise then transfer back to the train station for an express train to Qingdao, a vibrant port city known for its beaches as well as its beer thanks to being home of the original Tsingtao brewery founded in 1903.

The next day, enjoy a relaxing city tour beginning with a visit to the Tsingtao Beer Museum that brings to life the beer’s century-old history and culture through showing the tasty brew’s raw materials, traditional fermentation, new filter plants, brewing labs and more. Next, move on to the Naval Museum, founded in 1988, is the only military museum that showcases the development programme of the Chinese Navy. After getting your fill of museums, head to No. 1 Bathing Beach, one of the largest public beaches in China that draws a great number of tourists during the summer.
