Houaphanh to develop lid rapids as tourist site

Houaphanh province plans to develop Lid Rapids on the Nam Et River as a tourist attraction adding to the province’s other popular sites, such as “Cave City”. Developments, which are expected to start this year, will include a restaurant, resort, guesthouse better road, viewpoint, picturesque huts along the river and more.

In addition to the rapids, Houaphanh also currently offers a number of unique activities and attractions, like the Nam Nern Night Safari, Hintang archaeological site, hot springs and several waterfalls.
