Day 2

Uncover the ancient marvels of Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO gem that was once Sri Lanka’s capital from the 11th to the 13th century. Explore the city’s rich history and then venture into the wilderness with an exciting jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, where wildlife thrives against a backdrop of serene landscapes.

Day 3

Delve into the past as you visit the Aukana Buddha statue, a towering masterpiece from the 5th century. Continue your journey to Anuradhapura, a city steeped in history, and explore iconic sites like Isurumuniya, Sri Mahabodhiya, and Ruwanwelisaya. Your retreat awaits at Elephant Watch Hut Habarana.

Day 4

Ascend the majestic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an architectural marvel from the 5th century that offers breathtaking views of the Cultural Triangle. Journey onward to Kandy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the last bastion of Sinhala Kings. Immerse yourself in the city’s cultural riches, from shopping to captivating dance performances.

Day 5

Begin your day at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a spiritual gem nestled in Kandy’s heart. Meander around the city, absorbing its charm and exploring local markets. As evening descends, participate in a Pooja ceremony to embrace Buddhist traditions.

Day 6

Embark on a magical train journey through Sri Lanka’s picturesque tea country, with a scenic ride in the observation carriage. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, a haven of tea-laden hills, waterfalls, and mountainous beauty. Rest and rejuvenate at your Nuwara Eliya hotel.

Day 7

Awaken early for a jeep ride through Horton Plains National Park, a silent, otherworldly realm cloaked in lush greenery, waterfalls, and mist. Your trek will lead you to World’s End, a stunning escarpment, and Baker’s Falls. Return to Nuwara Eliya for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 9

A thrilling day awaits with a safari adventure at Yala National Park, where leopards, elephants, and diverse wildlife roam freely across the park’s vast landscapes. As evening arrives, unwind and contemplate your wildlife encounters.

Day 10

Bid farewell to Yala and set off for Bentota with captivating en-route sights. Explore Dondra, Sri Lanka’s southern tip, and visit the oldest stone building in the country. Discover the historic town of Galle, with its Dutch Fort and winding streets. Your day ends with a relaxing stay in Bentota.

Day 11

Savor a delectable breakfast before driving along the enchanting west coast, passing through Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital. Enjoy the sandy beaches of Beruwala and Kalutara, infused with a rich cultural heritage. Your unforgettable journey culminates with a transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
