DAY 1

Welcome to Paro in Bhutan, where you’ll take a stunning flight with stunning views of the famous Himalayan mountains. Once you land, you’ll be welcomed by the team at Diethelm travel Bhutan and check out the ancient Dzong (fortress) at the base of the mountain, where you’ll spend the night.

DAY 2

Head to Thimphu in the capital of Bhutan, where you can check out the National Library, the Folk Heritage Museum, the Takin Preserve and take in the views from the BBS tower. At the end of the day, make sure to check out the historic and royal site of TashiChhodzong.

DAY 3

Check out some of the city’s highlights, like the post office and the textile museum, before you make your way to the Punakha area. On the way, take in the beautiful views of the eastern Himalayas through a mountain pass. You can also check out 108 chorten and check out the Chimi Lchakhang temple, which has a special purpose.

DAY 4

Head to Punakha for a scenic drive, take a hike to the Namgyal chhorten in Khamsum, and then head back to thimphu to unwind.

DAY 5

If you’re looking for a cultural experience, head back to Paro! You’ll find some of the best places to visit, like the National Museum and the Zuri fort. Plus, you can check out the 7th-century Kyichu temple, which is a must-see.

DAY 6

Head out on a 3-hour trek to the famous Taktsang goemba, also known as the “Tiger’s Nest”, which is perched on top of a cliff overlooking Paro valley and will be the end of your Bhutan trip.

DAY 7

In the morning, your guide will drop you off at the airport so you can catch your next flight.
