Share

Hainan Airlines has launched its first direct flight between London and Changsha, Hunan, one of China’s most famous historical cities. Now Boeing 787 passenger jets depart each week from Changsha Huanghua International Airport and arrive at London’s Heathrow Airport before making the return journey. Flights depart from Changsha in the morning, just before noon, and arrive in London mid-afternoon on the same day. Returning flights leave Heathrow late at night arriving in Changsha mid-afternoon the following day.

The capital of Hunan province and a political, economic, cultural, and technological hub, Changsha is located on the lower reaches of Xiang river, a branch of the Yangtze River. Changsha’s long, storied history provides a wealth of attractions, and a rich collection of parks and gardens are popular with both visitors and locals.
