Diethelm Travel Myanmar's annual guide training

Share

This year’s guide training of Diethelm Travel Myanmar was conducted by two lecturers, Ms Elina Koski and Ms Sandi Lund-Steinheuer at the end of September 2016. Total 46 guides from Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle joined the training and they have learned new ideas and efficient ways to successfully handle guests through Myanmar. The training over 3 days in two sessions was a great success and the smiles of all guides show how pleased they were with their new trainers.

Diethelm Travel places great emphasis on our guides as they are ambassadors of our brand and service who are expected to leave each visiting guest with an indelible memory of their experiences and time in our care, whilst in Asia. This is why our guide training program is also part of a larger project, involving a detailed Service Manual, covering all aspects of Diethelm’s service standards – the sort of detail we think really makes a difference, during transfers, excursions and touring. Each guide completing the training are awarded a certificate of excellence, issued by the “Diethelm Travel Academy” – an initiative to streamline the on-going education and training of Diethelm Travel’s permanent and freelance guides.
