Experience ‘The Soul of Vietnamese Village’ show in Hanoi

“The Soul of Vietnamese Village” show involves a wide range of Vietnam’s traditional musical instruments and consists of seven parts, describing the landscape, daily activities, culture and beliefs of rural people in northern Vietnam. It highlights all four genres of Vietnam’s folk music that have been recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage including “ca tru” (ceremonial singing), “nha nhac cung đinh” (royal court music), “hat van” (invocation singing which accompanies trance ritual) and “quan họ” (love folk duets).

 

The performance is staged every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday with two shows at 18:15 hrs and 20:00 hrs.
