new terminal at Phuket International airport nearly finished

By mid-August, Phuket International Airport’s new terminal should be ready for occupation, with full-scale commercial operation starting in September, Monrudee Gettuphan, the airport’s general manager, has told the Bangkok Post. She said AoT should be able to confirm the opening date of the four-storey international terminal, the signature part of its THB 5.14 billion expansion of Thailand’s third-busiest airport, by 30 June.
