Sri Lanka's tea, lunch and waterfalls

Spend a day experiencing the Sri Lankan countryside. Begin by hiking to a stunning waterfall and exploring a working organic farm located in the Uva Highlands where you’ll indulge in a home-produced lunch and signature tea tasting. With a past rooted in cultivation, the estate supports local educational, economic and environmental initiatives, whilst its teas, coffees and preserves are stocked by the likes of Fortnum and Mason in London.

After lunch, walk with your guide through fields where tea, cinnamon and lemongrass are expertly cultivated and across a hidden rope bridge to the incredible Ravana-Ella Falls and its secret pools. The delicious vegetarian lunch usually consists of a vegetable soup with roti and sambol or quiche and salad. Back at the farm learn the secrets of artisanal production here before your experience culminates with a tasting of four signature hand-made teas at a picturesque point overlooking Ella Gap.
