An Overview of Your Adventure
DAY 1
Begin your journey to Banaue by passing through the valley of Cagayan until you come to the Cordillera Mountains, a region rich in natural beauty. The 10-hour land route takes you to Banaue which is the entrance to the province of Ifugao and the location of the world famous rice terraces
DAY 2
Hop on a local jeepney that will take you to the Sadlle Point where you will commence your trek to Batad. Hike through the mountain trails until you reach the crest that encompasses a breathtaking view of the terraced amphitheater, the lush forested peaks, and Batad’s tranquil village. Arrive at Tappiya Falls, a 25-metre natural cascade where you may enjoy a refreshing dip and cool off in the natural pool before returning to your inn.
DAY 3
Take a 3-hour uphill trek, meandering past rice terrace rocky edges, thick bamboo groves and moss-encrusted rock formations on your way to Bangaan Village. Dine at Banga- an Family Inn, where you’ll get to know the village’s humble community, socialize with the locals, and enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, explore the cluster of humble dwellers and mingle with the village folks before returning to Banaue on board a local jeeppney.
DAY 4
After breakfast, travel back to Manila through Cagayan valley road. Passing by serene countryside of central Luzon. You’ll arrive in Manila by late afternoon, marking the end of your journey.
