An Overview of Your Adventure

Experience the magic of Georgetown, one of the world’s most visited UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Start your tour at the late 19th century Cheong Fatt tze mansion, which is a masterpiece of Feng Shui. The mansion’s unique blue color is due to the combination of lime and indigo dye brought in from India. Next, head to the historical Muntri street, named after Ngah Ibrahim’s 19th century Menteri. Here, you’ll find the old-school trade guilds such as the Penang (and Province) wellesley cafe association, Penang (and) restaurants and tea shops association, and the Penang goldsmith association. As you walk, pass by the sacred Goddess of Mercy temple, colorful flower shops, the oldest Hindu temple, and the traditional Banana leaf Restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, head to the Spice Market where you’ll discover a vibrant spice trade of spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, all of which are traded in wholesale and retail.
