An Overview of Your Adventure
DAY 1
Your guide will welcome you to the country and kick off your journey with a visit to the Ripung Dzong. You’ll also visit the National Museum before settling in your hotel.
DAY 2
Your morning opens with a visit to the Kyichu Temple before making your way to Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan. There, you’ll make stops at the National Folk Heritage Museum, the National Library, the Textile Museum, and the Bhutan Post.
DAY 3
You’re off to Punakha, which will take you through Dochula Pass. Once arriving, you’ll visit the Druk Wangyel Chorten temple and the Chimi Lakhang fertility temple. Once you’re there, make sure to stay at your hotel for a restful night.
DAY 4
Head out on a trek to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten, and check out Punakha Dzong before heading back to Thimphu to unwind.
DAY 5
Take a hike to Tango monastery, check out the painting school, shop at the Handicraft emporium, visit Memorial chorten, check out Takin preserve, and explore the area around Thimphu.
DAY 6
Take a hike to Chari Goemba, pay a visit to Pangri Zampa Temple, and then take a ride to Paro. On the way, make a stop at Semthokhas Dzong.
DAY 7
Hike up to the famous Taktsang Monastery to admite the view. Then later in the day, visit the ancient Drukgyal Dzong’s ruins before heading back to Paro.
DAY 8
In the morning, your guide will escort you to the airport for your flight onwards.
