our success at ITB Berlin 2017

ITB Berlin 2017 was a tremendous success for Diethelm Travel. Thank you so much for visiting our booth. For those of you who did not attend this event, we would like to share with you some highlights being communicated during the show.

 

We have received great feedback on the launch of Diethelm Moments, Go Local and Family Travel, three new product lines that rely on specialized expertise in order to add value for clients.

  • Diethelm Moments – A creative assortment of destination-specific moments and gifts, such as traditional ceremonies or locally produced souvenirs, that can be added to itineraries as a surprise for guests or added benefit.
  • Go Local – Exclusive offerings that allow travellers to dive deep into the culture and communities they visit highlighting one-on-one interactions with locals including sharing home-cooked meals to learning traditional crafts from expert artisans
  • Family Travel – Specially crafted itineraries, activities and accommodation options for families with children, including country-specific kids activity packs.

This year we will continue to further bolster our product offerings, while also working to support agents in even more direct and highly useful ways. Having Oscar Lopera joining the team as Group Product & Contracting Director means we continue to strengthen and add value to our product portfolio across the region.”

The group, which operates offices in 12 Asian countries, added sales teams in London, Munich and Los Angeles toward to better service the UK, Europe and US markets, and is positioned to offer agents even more support and resources to drive sales in 2017.
